Clownlife facilitates workshops that merge the worlds of Clown and Personal Development for life and beyond. Organising international workshops, Residencies and 6 month long courses facilitated by Zuma Puma. Whether you are a professional actor looking to add to your repertoire or someone who is curious about how the work of clown can transform your life exponentially, this training excludes no-one. Zuma offers one-to-one coaching, and private direction for theatre companies from Universities to Community Theatres etc. She has facilitated over a thousand Clownlife participants over the years in 14 countries across the UK, Australia, Europe, South, Central and North America.

The Clownlife pedagogy is focused on self research through the art and practice of clown with a strong focus on well-being and mindful living. Exploring the central questions:  Who are you in relation to the self, the other and the natural world? How does the world see you?  What is funny about you, as you are, all the "good" and the "bad"? How is your relationship to your emotional body? How do you connect? How do you fail? If you could give your ego its full shameless expression what would that look like? How easy is it to laugh with yourself? What are the different masks (of your personality) that you wear? How curious can you be?...\

The facilitation of Clownlife- aka. clown not just for the stage but for life as well is inspired by Zuma's extensive studies in personal development; as a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, her experiences in Vision Quests, Rites of Passage and spiritual apprenticeships. Combined with 12 years of clown training with more than 40 Clown teachers from a varying range of styles, aesthetics and pedagogies from around the world.  To find out more about Zuma's training, performance experience and her facilitation style visit her Facilitator Bio in the About Section.
